City Of Cedar Rapids: Cedar Rapids HCW7 – Caisson & Laterals

This project included construction of the caisson and laterals for Horizontal Collector Well 7 along the Sinclair Levee in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The project featured a 20-foot inside diameter by 24-foot outside diameter reinforced concrete caisson extending 75 feet in length, along with approximately 1,200 linear feet of 12-inch-diameter stainless steel laterals. The laterals were distributed across six lines to support the City’s groundwater collection system.
