Aqua Pennsylvania Willowdale Crossing PFAS Treatment Package

Kennett Square, Pennsylvania

Project Description

This project upgraded the Willowdale Crossing Well pumping station with a granular activated carbon (GAC) treatment system for PFAS removal. The station remained in continuous operation throughout construction, with shutdowns limited to coordinated tie-ins and well pump replacement.

Reynolds furnished and installed GAC treatment equipment, process piping and valves, well pump upgrades, insulated heated enclosures, electrical and instrumentation systems, and associated equipment foundations. The project also included permitting, erosion and sediment controls, excavation and backfill, testing and disinfection, GAC media loading, site restoration, landscaping, fencing, paving, start-up services, operator training, and preparation of operation and maintenance manuals and record drawings.
