Project Description

This construction project extended the existing raw water intake system within the Etowah River. Reynolds installed new intake screens and completed the associated in-stream structural work required to support the pipe and screens. The project also included excavation and sitework, riverbank stabilization, stormwater drainage improvements, and restoration of disturbed work areas. Additional improvements included replacement of the existing air burst compressor and upsizing the air burst piping from 2 inches to 3 inches.
