Project Description

Reynolds completed the drill and blast of a 27-foot outside diameter, 50-foot deep shaft to serve as a new intake structure for the Marshall County Board of Public Utilities. Following shaft completion, Reynolds utilized a UBM-1200 microtunnel boring machine to install 90 feet of 60-inch steel casing into the Duck River, with a 30-inch FRP carrier pipe.

Additional scope items included the installation of a 3-inch utility line, shotcreting of the shaft interior, and the installation of gates, valves, and the intake screen.
