Georgia Pacific Riverbank Stabilization

Cedar Springs, Georgia

Project Description

This project included marine construction services along approximately 400 linear feet of riverbank on the Chattahoochee River. Reynolds cleared and grubbed the riverbank, removed unsuitable soil, and replaced it with suitable, compacted fill. The riverbank was graded to a 2H:1V slope and stabilized with filter fabric and riprap. Riprap was installed across the entire slope, with thicknesses ranging from 3 feet at the base to 1 foot at the top.
