Town Of Okotoks FORWS Raw Water Intake Collector Well

Project Description

This design-build project included construction of a raw water collector well designed to supply more than 5,200 gallons per minute of raw water to the Town of Okotoks and Foothills County, Alberta. The collector well consisted of a 16-foot inside diameter by 19-foot outside diameter reinforced concrete caisson extending 45 feet in length and equipped with approximately 830 linear feet of 12-inch-diameter stainless steel laterals distributed across eight horizontal lines. Reynolds Construction served as the Design-Builder for the caisson and laterals.
