First Utility Of Hardin County Raw Water Intake Replacement

Counce, Tennessee

Project Description

This construction project relocated and replaced the existing 24-inch raw water intake in Pickwick Lake. Reynolds constructed approximately 755 linear feet of 30-inch raw water intake influent line within the lake, with a portion of the pipeline supported on an H-pile support frame in the deepest section. The project also included installation of a new raw water intake screen, isolation valves, H-pile support structure, hydroburst system, and associated electrical equipment. These improvements provided a durable, reliable raw water intake system to support the Owner’s long-term water supply needs.
