WATER & WASTES DIGEST 2018 #1 TOP PROJECT – New Beaver Borough, PA – December 3, 2018 Reynolds Construction, LLC was awarded #1 Top Project in 2018 by Water & Wastes Digest for the $80 million Ellwood Water Treatment Plant, currently under construction, for Pennsylvania American Water Company in New Beaver Borough, PA. This project replaced the original plant that had been in use since 1909. Construction also included a new river intake and pump station, involving a 168 ft deep caisson, 3 railroad crossings, and 4 substantial cofferdams, all during the wettest year on record for the area.
